Losing Track

Day... 6 or 7... the sure sign of a good holiday is when it makes you lose track of time, and this one definitely did! In between excursions up to Haleakala (we went up twice!) and drinking locally pressed wine drom Tedeschi Vineyard in the Ulupalakua region, and looking at the grand resorts (Four Seasons, Fairmount) @ Wailea... I've completely lost track of time!

Our unfortunate "non encounter" with the sun continues... till now, Jules & I have not gotten any tanner... If we were in Thailand, we would have been close to the shade of burnt by now... but here, everwhere we go, so goes the rain clouds.

Halloween night was spent with Jules cooking dinner & me doing the laundry (yes, you heard right... we are domesticated!) and us having a bottle of bubbly (I really do love the wine here... sweet!) and in general just yakking away. Don't think we've had so much alone time to just talk since so very long ago when we first started dating! No wonder such breaks are called honeymoon.

Went up to Haleakala for the second time today... the difference between a rainy day and a sunny one is stark! Think Jules is really starting to appreciate holidays away from the beach... I can tell he was blown away by the scenery!!!
